Comicart is a 3D Racer with an integrated Leveleditor. Comicart enables the players, to model their cars and scenes, to configure every game relevant feature and to build their own courses directly in the game.
Due to all the configuration with xml files, an exchange of cars, scenes and courses is absolutely no problem.
As an example: One could model a car, another one could model a scene and a third person takes these files, drops them within a given directory and starts playing the game.
Comicart is known to be flexible. Due to the coniguration in XML files, it uses open standards to configure the game relevant values. The configurations in the game itself enables the user, to configure everything without knowledge of any XML structure or even without modifying any file by hand.
If you wish to contribute to the ComiCart project, you can do it in the following ways. Just contact us for further informations:
- Programmer: We are searching people, who want to join us and implement more features and improvements, like porting to c#, integrating multiplayer, etc.
- Modeller: Just start modelling and your models will work with the current course. Let us know about your models, so we can share them to the world :-). Contact us, and we let you know about some modelling details, like the size of the models etc. and provide some templates for you.
- Sponsors: We are searching a sponsor, which lets us share the project, the files from others and maintain a community.
